Revisited antique commode

This solid wood chest of drawers dates from the first half of the 20th century. It was sourced in the Paris region, thoroughly cleaned, sanded to remove its thick layers of old paint, treated, and then revamped. It is painted in a soft and bright white from Ressource Paints, the Crème Café S118. Its large moustache feet have been left in a wood finish to contrast with the white and add authenticity, then protected with wax. The inside of the drawers has been painted in Crème Café S119. Metal handles have been added to bridge the past and the present.
