Traditional four-poster bed from the ningbo region (southeast china). Elm wood covered with red lacquer with carved gilded wooden decorations. Mounting in studs and mortises. The set is fully removable and easy to assemble thanks to small numbered labels. The sleeping area is composed of two wooden trays covered with cannage. 206 cm long and 147 cm wide, it can accommodate a mattress of 140 by 200. Qing period 19th century. Very good condition.
