Mid-century hand-carved console table top

Beautiful long teak console with a divided top, featuring three gently sculpted inserts. Measuring 66 cm in length, it is designed for a sideboard, a fireplace, or as a centrepiece for a large dining table. The long grains of the teak wood are accentuated by the smooth, even edges of the inserts and the rounded corners of the square ends. The warm amber colour of the teak wood shines through its polished finish. A fabulous mid-century piece for displaying other vintage treasures, or as a practical item for serving nuts, as a candlestick, or otherwise. In good condition, free from chips or cracks in the wood. An irregularity in the wood underneath and a small mark on one side of the central insert, visible only from certain angles and under certain lighting, may have been repaired with light sanding and oiling. *Please send a message to inquire about delivery options for unlisted countries.
