Vintage 1950 terrestrial globe Girard Barrère and Thomas - 45 cm

Huge old cardboard and aluminum world map from the girard and barrère brand circa 1950 in good condition. The map is weathered but the colors are bright, it shows gaps in the atlantic ocean. The aluminum base is nickel. The globe is not dated but we find the old colonies of north africa, so it dates from the 1950s. It measures 45 cm high and 34 cm deep, the globe is 34 cm in diameter.
