Georges Braque - René Char. Small lithograph on Japanese paper. Out of a print run of 200, 50 copies were specially printed on Japanese paper. Dimensions: Sheet size: 32 X 25.3 cm = 12.6 X 9.9 in. Image size: 13.5 X 15.3 = 5.3 X 6 in. Condition: good condition. Some mounting traces on the margins, slightly yellowed Japanese paper which adds charm and density. Some adhesive marks on the back. A few light stains on the margins. All without any impact on the image, whose colours are vivid. Excerpt from "Lettra amorosa" by René Char, known as the last illustrated work by Braque. Referenced in Vallet #187 and Mourlot #121. Printed by Mourlot on 21 March 1963 in Paris. Published by Edwin Engelberts in Geneva.
