Stools by Alvar Aalto

We propose, two stools, one lower than the other... original trundle set. The presence in France of Aalto's furniture begins with Lyon, where Marcel Michaud founded the Stylclair company in 1933 in collaboration with CL. Zénone. He works with Wohnbedarf in Zurich and imports furniture manufactured under the Wohnbedarf license. In a Stylclair catalogue of 1933, in which metal furniture predominate, we find the Chair with the metal feet of Aalto, as well as his couch. Later Stylclair will take care of the sale in France of almost all the wooden furniture of Aalto. Aalto's productions were then predominant in the ensembles proposed by Stylclair.
