Sumptuous porcelain jug from Limoges, by the Charles Ahrenfeldt house, dating from before 1915 (according to the mark under the base). It is a beautiful pure white, with golden filigree decorations. The handle is particularly well-crafted. It is in perfect condition, with no chips, cracks, or stains. Perfect shine. The lid's knob and the spout are in perfect condition. The interior is like new, with no stains. Of incredible elegance, fine, classic while presenting a modern and timeless spirit. This model is timeless, elegant, absolutely chic while remaining discreet and unostentatious. This jug will harmonise perfectly with any type of crockery. Coming from Paris and before becoming a manufacturer in 1894, Charles Ahrenfeldt was a porcelain decorator in Limoges. In 1894, he built his own factory. The factory developed and gained recognition at the 1925 International Exhibition of Decorative Arts in Paris, where it won the Grand Prix. A financial group bought the factory in 1958, and its activity ceased permanently in 1969.
