The handle is particularly well-crafted. It is in perfect condition, with no chips, cracks, or stains. Perfect shine. The lid's knob and the spout are in perfect condition. Coming from Paris and before becoming a manufacturer in 1894, Charles Ahrenfeldt was a porcelain decorator in Limoges. In 1894, he built his own factory. The factory developed and gained recognition at the 1925 International Exhibition of Decorative Arts in Paris, where it won the Grand Prix. A financial group bought the factory in 1958, and its activity ceased permanently in 1969.
