Mid century designer Dining table and chairs

S210 oval table and chairs by John and Sylvia Reid. Table and chairs designed in the 1960s. Table is crafted in high-quality teak veneer with pleasing cut-away edge detailing and supported by four brushed satin nickle metalwork legs. An extension leaf is concealed in the centre of the table, transforming the table from circle to oval, offering seating for 6-8 people. The s230 dining chair features a gently curved back made from african walnut, the elegant design representive of the new design direction of the sixties, which strived to redefine function and form. The seat pad is gently for enhanced comfort and is upholstered in full-grain black. One of the unique features of the s230 chair is the swivel feet, which were specifically designed by John and Sylvia Reid for maximum stability.
