Superb large cut crystal bowl with luminous cobalt blue decoration from the Lorraine LEMBERG crystal factory (1924-1997), circa 1960. The Lemberg Crystal Factory was founded in 1925 by Théodore Heitzman. He, a baker for the neighbouring Saint Louis crystal factory, decided to create the Lorraine Crystal Factory (Lemberg Crystal Factory). Most of the twenty crystal artists were glassmakers from the Saint Louis Crystal Factory. Thanks to them, he succeeded in producing "high-end crystal" (24 to 30% lead content), which is crystal of excellent quality, as confirmed by the period label on the bowl indicating this lead content. Bowl numbered 927/1000, in perfect condition with no chips. Dimensions: Diameter 30 cm. Height 21.5 cm. Weight 3.2 kg. Packaging: Object carefully packaged. Delivery: To be collected in Nevers. Possibility of delivery to Paris (Paris/Nevers route) and Montpellier.
