Large silk carpet 2.44x1.36 m

Large Turkish silk carpet on cotton, entirely handmade. Model from the 1990s in very good condition. It features an elegant central medallion in green and purple tones, set against a richly decorated background of floral and botanical patterns. A salmon-coloured border harmoniously frames the whole. The shiny appearance or the presence of lighter areas visible in the photos do not correspond to defects. They are due to the natural reflections of the silk, whose sheen varies depending on the angle of the shot and exposure to light. Fine knotting of approximately 250, 000 knots/m², a guarantee of quality and craftsmanship. Please note: the fringes have slightly yellowed over time.
