The frame, whose style is very recognizable thanks to its two curvatures on the upper corners, is made of stucco-covered wood, like most frames of the time. This one was originally gilded, then it was painted blue-green, and finally white. The paint has peeled, revealing the different layers and colors, which gives it an absolutely magnificent originality. It has deliberately not been restored in order to preserve its history and authenticity. A small piece of the molding is missing on the bottom left corner (visible in the photos) Mercury ice is original, it has beautiful bites that add charm, while leaving its role of reflection quite filled!
