Monogrammed wagons beds

Golden bronze plaque presented the logo and coat of arms of the international company of sleeping cars and grand express europeans. H: 62 - l: 81 cm. This logo, commonly called the wagons-lits monogram, adorned with the two heraldic lions, was affixed to the doors of the passenger cars of luxury trains, the orient express, the blue train, the golden arrow, the north express. Cinema, literature, but also posters or photography, by widely disseminating the image of this logo, have contributed to the fame of these legendary trains that traveled through europe, all the way to asia and africa.
