Wood engraving, hand signed by gunther fuchs lower left, rixdorfer drucke workshop (berlin) 60s-70s. In good condition with some traces of wear visible on the back in particular (see detailed photos). Dimensions 51 cm X 50 cm. The engraving will be sent rolled up in a double packaging and secure cardboard. The rixdorfer drucke studio is a collective of german artists created in 1963 in berlin. They worked in the bohemian district of kreuzberg. Günter founder bruno fuchs was joined by uwe bremer, albert schindehütte, johannes vennekamp and arno waldschmidt. These artists practiced wood engraving. Their works dealt with the political and cultural life of germany in a humorous and irreverent way.
