Folding chair vintage design plona, 1969. Layer; normal minor state of wear. Chassis; small crack in the aluminum frame, see photo. With original pvc pads. The plona folding chair was created by giancarlo piretti for the anonima castelli brand. Characterized by its formal inventiveness, audacity and transparent materials, this creation, developed in 1969, and which is part of the pop era, is part of the permanent collections of moma and the montreal museum of fine arts. Both compact and stackable, the plona folding chair furnishes both the home and the collective places while compensating for the lack of space. Its foldable structure in the blink of an eye, thanks in particular to a round hinge that connects the seat and the feet, makes it particularly easy to transport and store. Installed in a group around a matching table or individually in your veranda, your room or the day area of your house, the plona folding chair is ideal for a relaxation area or a modern dining area. Taking the opposite of the archetypal design, the plona folding chair abandons the usual wood and canvas in favor of a molded plexiglass shell and a polished aluminum chassis. The whole is based on pvc pads. With a width of 47 cm, a height of 75 cm and a depth of 46 cm, .
