Print of Lucerne, the Kapellbrücke and the Wasserturm. The Kapellbrücke was the oldest and also one of the longest covered wooden bridges in Europe. Built in 1333 and rebuilt in 1994, after a fire, it crosses the mouth of the Reuss into Lake Lucerne over a length of 204 meters. This print is an original work, with the wasserturm in the middle of the bridge, octagonal in shape, 34 meters high and would have been built around 1300, housing the archives and precious objects of the city, but it served as a prison and premises of torture. Early 20th century. Very well framed. Sober, discreet, chic. Mondial Relay €4.40
