50s hairdresser

Elegant and rare 50s Scandinavian style dressing table with 3 mirrors on adjustable legs. By the manufacturer austinsuite who produced teak and afromosia furniture in the 1950s/1960s in a "new modern" style. What makes this dressing table unique are its 3 mirrors, 2 oval side ones and a central rectangular one. All are adjustable and completely removable (which makes transport easier), the mirror feet are made of brass. Like many designer pieces of furniture from the period, this dressing table is entirely made of teak, its handles are made of brass. The dressing table also consists of: 2 large drawers at the bottom and 2 shallower, compartmentalized drawers at the top. The top drawer has a sliding shelf. Behind a door on the right, a small drawer padded with blue velvet for storing jewelry and watches. Finally, this dressing table has gone through the years, has traveled through the Channel but is in superb condition, discreetly displaying its history: a few discreet micro scratches, stains in the bottom of 2 drawers and the repaired top tray (invisible once once mounted) because damaged by time under the feet of the oval mirrors. In short, the piece of furniture is in very good general condition and bears the authentic mark of time. A super classy little jewel and unique in its rarity; ).
