Rolf Krüger Paul Neuhaus brass wall lamps set 1970s

When these lamps are off, they appear almost graphic. Clean lines, clear contrast, and a shape that seems to float in front of the wall. Once the light is on, the character changes completely and a warm, soft glow emerges. Designer Rolf Krüger managed to create a strikingly powerful design with just a few elements: a gold-coloured cylinder, opal glass, and light. The set of 2 lamps were produced by Paul Neuhaus Leuchten in Germany and are model 1723/25. The design consists of a cylindrical housing mounted with a subtle distance from the wall, creating a light shadow effect that makes the fixture appear to float. Original opal glass tubes slide into the fixture at both the top and bottom. The milk glass diffuses the light evenly, creating a warm atmosphere without harsh glare. The shiny gold-coloured housing reflects the light, resulting in a beautiful interplay between reflection and diffuse light. This combination makes these wall lamps special. During the day, they are sleek geometric objects; in the evening, they become atmospheric light objects that add warmth and depth to a space. Both lamps have been carefully cleaned in our workshop. The metal has been polished, the technique checked, and the original opal glass shades inspected. The lamps are ready for use and suitable for E14 bulbs.
