An old French high-voltage power line insulator of medium size. Model inscription on the glass eiv (glassware) and a21 (model). Glass insulators dominated the electrical and telecommunications networks in France from 1899 until the mid-1970s, when new lines were systematically laid with insulated cables. Object which is becoming rare, of a very beautiful green and which will make a very nice industrial-style candle holder. Height 8 cm. Diameter 9 cm. Diameter of the hole at the top 21 mm.
