Napoleon III brass cache pot.

Superb antique brass cooler, oval in shape, adorned with an elegant scalloped edge typical of the so-called Monteith models. This type of piece was used in the 19th century to chill wine glasses, delicately suspended in the notches. The side handles with leaf decoration add a refined touch, while the patina of time reveals the authenticity of the object. The golden hues, slightly oxidised, testify to its history and give it a unique charm.
