Italian mid-century chest of drawers Gio Ponti style

Rare Italian mid-century chest of drawers from the 1950s/60s, finished in warm rosewood veneer and designed in the style of Gio Ponti. The chest features three spacious, smoothly running drawers with round knob handles. The distinctive front is decorated with spectacular geometric parquetry in diamond shapes with light wood and subtle green tones, inspired by refined Art Deco. The slender, tapered wooden legs give this vintage chest of drawers an elegant, airy appearance. A characteristic mid-century piece of furniture for the living room, bedroom, hallway, office or reception.
