Description
This is an antique condiment set (salt shaker, pepper pot and mustard pot) in Gaudy English Imari colors with flowing blue stripes, applied flowers and rabbit head finials, made in Staffordshire, England, England. the years 1880-1890. The cobalt blue, rust, and gold imari or English gaudy pattern is on all five pieces of the set. There is still plenty of gold trim left on the applique flowers and bead trim. The set is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks, but shows some wear to the gilding, which is normal for the age and material. This stunning set is very rare and hard to find, especially in this beautiful condition. Height without lid: 6.5 cm. 12cm x 13cm x 6.5cm. Weight: 500g. This display has belonged to my family since the end of the 19th century.
