An original suspended Faro chandelier designed by Harvey Guzzini, dating from the 1970s and manufactured by Meblo in former Yugoslavia. The Faro is a classic example of Space Age lighting aesthetics associated with Italian design from the 1960s and 1970s. This example features a vibrant hemispherical orange plastic shade, a polished chrome upper support, and an original black spiral suspension cord. The bold geometry and saturated colour give the piece a distinct futuristic and sculptural presence. The lamp retains its original Meblo label and vintage components. Its height adjustment mechanism is present, although it currently operates in a single position and is not fully functional. A highly decorative example of collectible Meblo / Guzzini lighting, particularly suited to mid-century modern, Space Age, Atomic Age, retro, or contemporary interiors.
