Info: in 1930, delaunay reconnected with “inobjective” art in the endless rhythms and rhythms in which color alone is expressed which, by its organization, its dimension, its relationships in space, determines the rhythms of the forms . The international exhibition of 1937 was an opportunity for many artists to receive commissions. Delaunay, supported by the activity of his wife Sonia Terk, painter and creator of “simultaneous” furniture and fabrics, has long been asking the question of abandoning easel painting in favor of an art that invests all spaces everyday. Delaunay was responsible, in collaboration with the architect Félix Aublet, for an important set of decorations for the railway pavilion and the air and aeronautics pavilion, which enjoyed great public success.
