Very rare table lamp designed by carl-harry stålhane for rørstrand sweden in the 1960s. The model is called orient and is extremely decorative both with and without light and all stamps and signatures are present under the lamp. Even the original shade is included (however, it is somewhat worn and can with benefit be replaced with a more modern one) It measures approx. 20 cm in height (26 cm including socket and 40 cm including the shade) 12 X 12 cm in the lamp base and 19 X 19 cm in the shade size and it weighs approx. 1400 grams. Swedish ceramicist carl-harry stålhane (1920-1990) played an important role in popularizing swedish ceramics in the 20th century and worked for more than three decades at rörstrand, one of the oldest ceramics manufacturers in europe.
