Description
Superb stove from 1935 for rosières 1935, and from the art deco movement. This stove is a compact hybrid stove that can burn both wood and coal (and all its derivatives) or a combination of the two. The wood will be loaded through the front door, and the coal can be loaded from the upper hatch located under the cover. It was manufactured by the famous rosières factory in berry in the 1930s and appears in their 1933 catalog. In excellent condition, and with the quality of casting and enamelling associated with rosières. The stove embodies the best of art deco style and design. This is a beautiful and unusual stove and these photos don't really do it justice! The price when new, in 1930, was 290 old french francs. Height: 51 cm/ width: 52 cm/ depth: 26.5 cm the size of the flue is 9.7 cm. No trace of rust is to be deplored. Note that the mica windows have been renewed. And the exterior enamel has a few tears due to its great age but it has lost none of its splendor!!! ! Finally, it is taupe gray in color.
