Offered here in very good original condition, this dining or meeting table combines a rigorous and timeless design with remarkable manufacturing quality, and ensures perfect freedom around the top, allowing up to six guests to be comfortably seated. It consists of a large circular top in smoked tempered glass resting on a central base in a chrome-plated cylindrical barrel, extended by a crosspiece with four flat legs finished with adjustable turned steel glides. Acquired from a private individual who declared having purchased it himself from roche bobois in the 1970s, this piece clearly evokes the productions of florence knoll for knoll international, while retaining a degree of mystery as to its exact manufacturer... With its clean lines and minimalist geometry, this table is part of the tradition of international modernist design.
