Rue du chemin-vert is located in the 11th arrondissement of paris. It was created on april 2, 1868 by merging rue des amandiers and rue du chemin-vert. This route already existed in 1650 and takes its name from the winding path which crossed the market gardens of les amandiers, from place de la bastille to ménilmontant. In 1780, letters patent ordered its extension to the wall of the general farmers. During the first world war, on january 30, 1918, number 23 rue du chemin-vert was hit during a raid carried out by german planes. Sold in its own juice.
