Jug cat Saint-Clément in slipware

Charming zoomorphic jug in glazed earthenware from Saint-Clément, depicting a sitting cat. This is model no. 7486, a revival by the Saint-Clément factory of one of its old models of animal jugs. The cat features very lovely shades of brown, ginger, and cream, with green eyes and the details of the fur highlighted by the glaze. The underside bears the handwritten inscription "Handmade – St Clément – France." A fun and very decorative piece, characteristic of the slipware productions of Saint-Clément in the 20th century. In very good overall condition. Dimensions: H 25 × W 10 × D 15 cm. Weight: 800 g.
