Mid-century danish brutalist pair of ceiling pendants designed in the 1960s by designer svend aage holm sørensen for holm sørensen & co as. These vintage cylinder shaped brass lamp have acid-treated and torch-cut look in a brutalistic design. It gives a lovely and magic shine when lit. Perfect in any room alone or together as a pair. Good vintage condition. Golden electric cords adjustable to preferred heights. Size of lamps: 22cmh X 14cmd. Svend aage holm sørensen is a scandinavian designer - more mediterranean in his expressions, though he is a dane. The holm sørensen lamps had a typical retro expression in 1950-60s, and the lamps in the united states, italy and france were slightly more sculpted, outrageous and funny, not just as fine serene as the arne jacobsen lamps.
