Rare: 2 cretan ribbed olive oil jars, late 19th/early 20th century. Magnificent patina. Origin: mediterranean. Handmade, round neck with ribbed body and beautiful patina of wear and tear over time. 1: height: 84cm. Width: 61cm. 2: e height: 83cm. Width: 62cm. In clay. 80kg each. Can stay outside. In good condition. Pots like these can come from anywhere in the mediterranean region - they have been made for centuries, even millennia, for the storage of all kinds of crops - grains, olives or wine.
