1970s Ceramic Vase | Studio 4 Italy

Vintage studio 4 collective ball vase with a wide neck and matte glaze in cream, taupe and yellow. The geometric patterns on this italian ceramic piece are similar to some of aldo londi's designs for bitossi. A beautiful neutral piece for fall decorating and a great addition to any ceramic collection. Excellent vintage condition. Marked "handarbeit" (handmade) on the underside as this piece was produced for the german market. Height - 13 cm diameter - 13 cm studio 4 was founded in 1972 by lelio rossi and 4 other former bitossi employees. The factory was located in capraia, just outside montelupo. Studio 4 was known for drawing inspiration from bitossi's designs.
