Very pretty lamp in opaque colorless blown glass and milky glass murrine canes, in the harmonious shape of a stylized mushroom, with a pretty ball base and a lampshade resting on an elegant gold metal structure. Production Venini Italy 1970. Attributed to Paolo Venini. In a perfect state. Venini. The world-renowned Italian glass company, founded in 1921 by Paolo Venini (1895-1959), a Milanese lawyer with glassmaking ancestors, and Giacomo Cappellin (1887-1968), a Venetian antiques dealer, under the name Vetri Cappellin Venini & C . On the island of Murano. The Venetian artist Vittorio Zecchin took the artistic direction and created the famous Veronese vase, symbol of the company. Their union launches the foundations of Venini's stylistic identity characterized by the search for new techniques and the high quality of their creations entrusted since the beginning to the best glassmakers on the island of Murano and Italian artists.
