Renovated boarding school wardrobe

Former boarding school changing room, metal feet, wood and wood veneer, 60s. Composed of a closet part and a shelf part: 4 shelves (including 1 on a slide that can slide like a drawer) and a drawer. The exterior surfaces of the cabinet (as well as the inner left and right studs) are left in rough wood - waxed finish. The surfaces of the shelves, the floor, the central partition and the bottom of the cabinet are painted with the same paint as the door. The floor of the cabinet is open. The door is painted (indoors - exterior) in white "loft white 222" from little greene - varnished finish. It closes with a "clipping" system - a metal system that allows you to lock with a padlock. The handle is original, a gold metal. There is a fixed metal label on the door (painted white as feet). After sanding, the feet were switched to anti-rust and then painted with a white metal paint. The bottom of the drawer is covered with geometrically raised, white and black patterned paper (see photo). The cabinet is solid, the drawer works well, the shelves slide well, the door closes well. Despite the renovation, there are still some small imperfections or traces of time, they are related to the age of the furniture and participate in its charm. For example, there is a repair of the wood that remains visible on the right side of the cabinet (see close-up photo). Also, the gilding of the handle is blurred and it has some scratch marks (see photo). Also, the plastic that covers the rod of the closet is torn on a few centimeters (the rod remains fully functional and clean). Total dimensions: 175cm high, 60cm wide and 56cm deep.
