1960s Leather Kangaroo by Dimitri Omersa for Abercrombie & Fitch

Look at this beautiful leather kangaroo designed by Dimitri Omersa, made in England in the 1960s and produced for Liberty & Co. And Abercrombie & Fitch. It is entirely hand-stitched from thick, full-grain leather and has developed a beautiful patina over time. The kangaroo was designed with a pouch that functions as a magazine holder, though they were mostly used as a decoratif and sculptural object. Some minor restaurations were made and they were carefully carried out by a professional leatherworker. So it is still in véry good condition, with only some wear and tear corresponding with age and use.
