It is the adaptation of the novel of the same name by boris pasternak. It is the ninth biggest hit in the history of cinema with $ 1.9 billion in receipts. The film also received numerous awards, including five oscars. Georges allard was an active poster artist in france from the late 1940s to the late 1960s. He is the author of more than 80 posters for films distributed in france including the famous poster "le mépris" by jean-luc godard representing brigitte bardot. This vintage poster measures 156 X 116 cm and is in good condition. It will delight collectors.
