“t3” or “jasmin” coffee table by florent lasbleiz dating from the 1950s. Manufacturer: airborne. Round steel wire base painted black. Securit glass top. Brass screws. The jasmin airborne coffee table is made of transparent safety glass mounted on a solid tube steel structure painted black. Its minimalist design is characteristic of the modernist movement of the early 1950s. Decorator and architect, f. Lasbleiz designed the t3 coffee table in 1954 for airborne. This table would later become the iconic jasmin table. The designer is inspired by the metal legs of the famous aa butterfly airborne armchairs and applies this structural principle to other pieces of furniture. Thus, the coffee table has sculptural and aerial lines, and the impression of emptiness is striking. A very fine example of innovative mid-century modernist production, this classic has not aged a bit. Length 86 cm height 34 cm depth 86 cm by cece design.
