Wooden turned gueridon in the style of Charles Dudouyt – 1940s-50s

Solid wood side table, in the spirit of Charles Dudouyt's creations. Its sculptural central turned base and round top give it a strong presence, characteristic of French rustic furniture from the 1940s-50s. A piece of character that fits well in both a contemporary interior and a chic country or wabi-sabi decor. The wood has a beautiful old patina that highlights its authenticity. Condition: stable structure. The base shows signs of age, with some old cracks and marks from previous wood-boring insects, visible in the photos. These marks contribute to the history of the piece and do not affect its sturdiness.
