Description
The 'golden bell' pendant lamp was designed for the savoy restaurant in helsinki by alvar and his wife aino in 1936. One of the characteristics of aalto was to treat each building as a complete work of art, down to the furniture and light. The perforations all around the edge create a beautiful effect of shadow and light all around. Vintage edition from the 1960s, produced by poulsen, denmark.
