Large decorative dish in glazed earthenware from the province of toledo in spain. The province of tolede in spain has many towns and villages - such as talavera de la reina (classified as intangible cultural heritage of humanity by unesco for its ceramics) - known for their earthenware entirely hand-painted since times which, for some of these manufactures, date back to the roman empire. Some ceramic painters are very renowned and some great artists, especially spanish, have also been able to call on these factories, often family-owned, to make pieces to enrich their work. This was the case, in particular, with pablo picasso. This piece, bought in ibiza, comes from these workshops in the province of toledo. Its diameter is 39.5 cm and height is 9 cm. It weighs 1.7 kg, excluding transport packaging. It is preferable to reserve its use for a purely decorative destination. This dish is, moreover, endowed with a fastener destined to be hung in wall decoration. By its diameter and its beautiful blue color, it is, as such, a beautiful object, which immediately ensures a beautiful presence in a living room. In perfect condition, this ceramic will be sent to you in reinforced parcel and very well protected.
