Description
Rare Guignol theatre in wood and paper. The castelet is composed of a wooden structure while the curtain, often in fabric, is here replaced by a lithograph. This proscenium faux rises to discover the scene using a pulley system at the rear. The lower part of the castelet is decorated with a lithograph contained a clown (a character created in 1808) theatre in a park. It recognizes the Pierrot character the moon as well as snipe, which was created in February 1905. The spectators are mothers with their children. The clothes fit in the fashion of the 1920s. The object was fragile but in very good condition.
