The city of algaida in mallorca is mainly known for its blown glass factory.  Since 1719, the famous gordiola family has mastered this art of blowing glass with a prodigious skill that allows them to work it so well.  Each of their pieces is unique, none is identical to the other. Any irregularity or asymmetry of bubble is characteristic of hand-blown glass and gives these works their special charm. This decanter is in superb condition.
