DSW side chairs by Charles & Ray Eames for Herman Miller

Set of 4 dsw side chairs designed by Charles Eames and made by Herman Miller in the late 50s/early 60s. Original fibreglass weave shells in the following colours (left to right in first image): light greige, parchment (off-white). Dimensions: Height 81cm. Depth 53cm. Width 47cm. Seat height 45cm. The contemporary version of this chair is made of polypropylene, which in our opinion, is not a patch on these original fibreglass models, which age beautifully. All with original herman miller stamp. Mounted on new, high quality walnut dowel bases. In very good overall condition, with just a couple of very small scuffs here and there to the edges of the shells, in keeping with their age, but nothing noticeable. A stunning set of chairs - a totally classic, very collectable set. The seats and bases will be dismantled for safer shipping.
