Tyrolean Miniature Wardrobe and Bed Set

Fabulous Tyrolean-style miniature furniture consisting of a wardrobe and a bed. (Late 19th, early 20th century.) Hand-painted pieces with floral friezes and patterns in superb blue, red, yellow and green colors. These small pieces of furniture are exceptionally detailed: the small bed with its linen and accessories like a real one, and the remarkable wardrobe, containing small pottery dishes, rolled and hung fabrics, and some devotional objects such as the rosary and small icons. Models produced in the Tyrol region (Alpine region straddling Austria and Italy) between the 19th and early 20th centuries, at a scale of 1:10 and numbered, copies of old and genuine iconic models from the region. The pediment of the wardrobe bears the year of original production (1845) as well as the initials of the artist who made them or of their owner. Wardrobe: height: 20.5cm. Width: 15.5cm. Depth: 8cm.
