Frame: Some signs of age, consistent with the work's age. Provenance: Discovered in a 1960s house, preserved with many objects dating from the 19th to early 20th century. Description: Bucolic scene of a mountain landscape in spring. A path bordered by stone walls leads to a mountain house surrounded by flowering trees, backed by a cliff. The balanced composition and choice of colours create a calm and bright atmosphere, typical of French landscape painting from the late 19th century.
