Transitional style side table, with a red marble top.

Charming side table in the Transitional Louis XV – Louis XVI style, made of veneered wood and marquetry, resting on four curved legs ending in bronze sabots. It opens with two front drawers and features an elegant flowing line enhanced by decorative gilded bronzes and a pierced brass gallery. The top has a superb red marble veined with white in a scalloped shape. Overall in good condition. Notable points: some signs of use and slight wear to the varnish, small marks consistent with age.
