four Victorian dining chairs

Elegant set of four Victorian dining chairs, made from solid walnut and dating from the late 19th century (circa 1880-1900). Featuring finely turned front legs, carved crests with scroll details, and H-stretchers for added stability. The chairs retain their original brass nailhead trim and are upholstered in mustard green velvet, providing a refined contrast to the rich patina of the walnut. They come with fabric covers for the seat and backrest. As a result, the upholstery is in very good condition due to careful use. The chairs are sturdy and structurally sound, with age-related wear and a beautiful antique patina consistent with their age. They show moth holes due to their age, which are preferable to treat. Good antique condition with signs of age and use. Measurements: Width 47 cm x Depth 50 cm x Height 107 cm - Seat height 49 cm. Made in Italy. Period: Late 19th century (c. 1880-1900).
