Bedspread or carpet Djajim Iran

Bedspread, light carpet or tablecloth. Iranian djajim shahsavan in wool, or called jajim too. Good condition. Old. Very flexible weaving. Sublime blue-parma-beige colors. Very elegant. Jajim were performed in most iranian tribes. But we find the majority of the jajim among the shahsavans. The weaving technique is different from that of kilim. The chain is visible and defines the colors of the stripes, unlike kilims where the drawing is defined by the frame. The djajim is made from long strips, with a width of approx. 30 cm sewn together. Dimensions: 210x161cm.
