Freestanding bookcase from the 1950s - 60s of Italian origin with its nine solid oak shelves protected by a varnish as well as its suspended box with two sliding side doors. The structure is composed of 3 uprights being connected by threaded rods with all these round-headed brass bolts, none are missing and have been repolished. All the rods cross the uprights and firmly support the shelves which can support a significant weight, especially large books. These three black lacquered metal uprights are equipped with six gilded brass tips and are adjustable to adapt to an uneven floor thanks to their threads. These tips have also been repolished to reveal their golden effect. All the manufacturing and details of this bookcase have been intelligently thought out for everyday use. This complete piece of furniture is easily disassembled and can be delivered in pieces. It is in very good condition and has not undergone any restoration or repair. The total width is 143 cm, the total depth is 43 cm at the box level and the height of the uprights is 184 cm.
