Ole wanscher's extendable scnadinave meal table, rungstedlund model in varnished mahogany. Large capacity: 4 to 8, or 12 people. Very pretty proportions of the tray, in the shape of an elopse. 2 extension cords with headbands mounted on hinges for flat storage. Slight difference in colour between tray and extension cords. Exceptional state. Lengths: 65 cm. Maximum table length with 2 extension cords: 278 cm. Rungstedlund is the former home of the famous danish woman of letters keren blixen (1886 - 1962), where she was born and died. It is located in rungsted kyst by the sea, north of copenhagen. It was the furniture of this house that inspired ole wanscher for the creation in 1967 of rungstedlund's line, consisting of a complete dining room: table, chairs and armchairs, low buffet and cabinet.
