Slurry rat candleholder Vallauris

Charming little enamelled ceramic candle holder called cellar rat because it has a cup to collect wax and a small handle to light up while moving, especially in the cellar. It is two-colored, a very dark brown, almost black, slightly iridescent and a nice soft green, lettuce green (a little different from the green rendered by the photos, the penultimate photo taken on a piece of furniture makes the color better). It is stamped vallauris below and probably dates from the 60s. It is in good general condition, no crack, just a small chip on the edge and a chip (the dark spot in the green area, on the edge of the cup), which I first took simply for an overflow of black enamelling on the green, but which to the touch lets feel a lack... Probably a masking following an accident. Both flaws are visible in the last close-up photo. It measures 9 cm in length, 8 cm in width, 5.5 cm in height, the diameter of the part where the candle is inserted measures 2.2 cm.
